Biography

Rim joined SunFunder in May 2018 to lead transactions in West Africa, covering both off-grid solar and other productive use, microgrid and commercial & industrial solar opportunities in the region. She is now Investment Director in charge of developing SunFunder's portfolio across Africa in all sectors. Prior to SunFunder, Rim worked at responsAbility Investments for more than four years completing agriculture investments in sub-saharan Africa. Before that she started her career at BNP Paribas in the structured finance department. Rim was born in Morocco, speaks 5 languages and holds a Bachelor and Master’s degrees from Sciences Po Paris.
