Biography

I am a human and girls’ rights activist, a founder and a leader of Foundation for Girls Leadership; a not-for-profit making organization in Malawi working to advance and promote girl’s rights, their leadership and their active participation in driving positive change. Girls in my society are denied of their rights to education, have less rights to sexual reproductive health rights, less opportunities to participate in development and economic activities, and often times are victims of sexual gender based violence. Growing up in such a society and witnessing such kind of violations, I decided to make a difference by standing up and fight against these injustices. I am fully convinced that an equal world is a better world where no one is left behind.
