Donia Amamra

Meet My Mama

Inclusion & Education

From the Val d'Oise situated in the Parisian suburbs, Donia is studying at Sciences Po Paris. During her studies, she did a gap year in the United States, during which she volunteered in a shelter for women victim of violence. This was the turning point: Donia knew she wanted to work for social change, and change the codes. She continued her studies, and completed her volunteer experience with stays in Lebanon and Egypt. During an internship at PwC, she met Loubna Ksibi. Together, they decided to dedicate themselves to a mission: to reveal the culinary talents of women from all over the world. They created Mama's Cook'In. For two years, Donia worked on this entrepreneurial project in parallel with her job as a consultant at Tenzing. In 2016, the two entrepreneurs met Youssef Oudahman, creator of the "Mamma's Kitchen" project. The three of them decided to join forces, and founded Meet My Mama. 4 years later, the company has more than 25 employees and has helped more than 200 women make a living from their cooking talents. A member of the Board of Directors of SINGA, an organization committed to helping refugees, Donia is also a host lecturer at Sciences Po Paris on gastronomy, culinary arts and culture in the Arab world. For her entrepreneurial journey, Donia has received several awards and distinctions, including the Forbes 30 under 30.
